RK Pharma Inc, a PE-backed US based company with subsidiaries in India, is seeking a Controller to complement our growing Finance team.  As a rapidly growing company focused on the development, manufacturing and sale of high quality and affordable generic pharmaceutical products worldwide, we are looking for sharp, driven, entrepreneurial individuals to help us grow our mid stage start up team.

This position will report to our VP of Finance and focus heavily on building scalable processes for timely and accurate financial reporting of the consolidated corporate entity including periodic accounting close. She or he will be working closely with our SAP team to build efficiencies, maintain GAAP and compliance while keeping a focus on data integrity and analytics. 

 

If this sounds interesting to you, it’s probably because up to this point you have:

  • Accounting certification such as CPA 
  • Have worked closely with inventory accounting across multiple manufacturing sites or pharmaceutical plants.
  • Spent 3 or more years working in the generic pharmaceutical space 
  •  Spent 10+ years in finance and accounting with and 5-7 years as a senior accounting staff with in-depth knowledge of accounting (general/sub ledgers) close of consolidated entity, gross to net accounting, returns and government rebates.
  • Supported stringent reporting deadlines. 
  • Worked with ERP systems (preferably, SAP HANA S4) as well as other revenue managements systems (such as Vistex, iContracts) 
  • Worked with teams across various countries and have awareness of international accounting compliance.
  • Extensive experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing organization will be a big plus.
 
The main responsibilities for this position are:
  • Owning the accounting close of the consolidated entity in a timely manner
  • Implement strict internal controls and initiate positive process changes in procedure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and treasury to ensure accurate financial reporting. 
  • Support implementation of project costing systems and production planning modules in SAP.
  • Responsible for financial audits and corporate taxation. 
  • Assist management in preparation of MIS reports.
  • Consolidation of group’s financials
  • Assist in FP&A and budgeting.
