ControllerKey responsibilities of the controller include:Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reportingLead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for multiple entities and projectsDevelop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesMonitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functionsPartner with executive leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-makingSupervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring high performance and professional developmentEnsure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirementsCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party stakeholdersAnalyze financial results and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and profitabilityThe successful applicant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CPA-track preferred7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within construction, real estate, or project-based environmentsStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting structuresProven experience managing full-cycle accounting operations and leading month-end/year-end closeDemonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring and developing accounting teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindsetAdvanced proficiency in accounting systems and ExcelStrong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit processesAbility to communicate financial insights effectively to senior leadership and non-finance stakeholdersHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentWhat's on offer:Salary and benefits package!Contact Billy Kelty Quote job ref JN-012026-6920332
