This is a permanent position in the Accounting + Finance industry, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of our organization. You will be responsible for monthly reporting, preparing financial statements, managing GL and financials, and working with CDK Software. You will also be responsible for overseeing two rooftops, implementing bonus plans, and working with the Reynolds and Reynolds system.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Controller, you will be responsible for managing all facets of our accounting operations. Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing the production of monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections for management and the board.
2. Ensuring the accuracy of our general ledger (GL) and all financial statements.
3. Managing the use of CDK Software in our financial operations.
4. Implementing and managing bonus plans to incentivize high performance among our staff.
5. Overseeing the financial operations of two rooftops, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
6. Working with the Reynolds and Reynolds system to manage dealership operations.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulations.
8. Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive the company's vision and business objectives.
9. Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyzing financial data to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CPA) is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience with monthly reporting, preparing financial statements, managing GL and financials.
4. Proficiency in CDK Software, Reynolds and Reynolds system.
5. Demonstrable experience with bonus plans and overseeing multiple business units or rooftops.
6. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
7. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear, concise terms.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
