Be a key financial leader driving business success. We're seeking a hands-on, strategic controller with experience to lead our accounting operations and partner with leadership to drive performance across multiple locations. This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you'll be deeply connected to operations, helping translate financial data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, control costs, and support growth. If you understand the pace of a production environment and enjoy being both strategic and in the weeds, this is the role for you!

What You'll Do
  • Lead all accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and intercompany transactions across multiple locations
  • Oversee and improve cost accounting, inventory controls, and manufacturing variance analysis
  • Partner with the president and operations to monitor production costs, labor efficiencies, and material usage
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including plant-level performance metrics
  • Manage month-end close and consolidated financial reporting
  • Analyze variances between standard costs and actual results; recommend improvements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with leadership
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external partners
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
  • Provide backup support for payroll and benefits administration as needed
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing
  • Experience supporting plant operations or multi-site environments
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and develop teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Why Join Us?
  • Play a key role in both financial strategy and operational success
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership and decision-making
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on cost, efficiency, and profitability
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth team environment
  • Growing company with multi-location operations
