Controller

Advanced Personnel Resources is conducting a confidential search for an experienced 

Controller on behalf of a growing organization in the Piedmont Triad. 

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative leadership team and play a key 

role in driving the company's financial strategy and day-to-day accounting operations.

Position Highlights

• Direct Hire
• Salary: $90,000
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate annual audits and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
• Highly numbers-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Team-oriented personality with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA designation.
• Experience managing an accounting or finance team.
• ERP or enterprise accounting software experience.
• Experience overseeing external audits.
