If that describes you, we need to talk!
What your future day will look like:
  • Oversee all accounting operations for the public accounting firm and related entities
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting schedules
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Monitor cash flow, banking activity, and financial performance
  • Assist leadership with financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Coordinate annual financial statement preparation and tax-related reporting
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and general accounting functions
  • Ensure timely reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accounts
  • Support implementation and optimization of accounting and operational software systems
  • Help improve automation, efficiency, and reporting capabilities
  • Lead and develop accounting and administrative team members
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial safeguards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, bankers, insurance providers, and advisors
  • Assist with entity management, licensing, and business compliance requirements
  • Support risk management and operational oversight initiatives

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in a public accounting firm or professional services environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Strong leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
