Reconcile business bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, payroll activity, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and material balance-sheet accounts.
Review revenue activity from Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, distributors, and direct sales to support accurate revenue reporting.
Review inventory and cost-of-goods-sold activity as LAVIOR implements and maintains its inventory process.
Record and review necessary month-end adjustments and supporting schedules.
Investigate material accounting questions and provide a clear list of items requiring LAVIOR’s clarification or documentation.
Produce monthly financial statements, including a Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
Target completion of the monthly close and financial package by the 15th of the following month, assuming required records and responses are provided timely.
Cash-flow and CFO support
Provide management visibility into cash flow, working-capital needs, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory requirements, and operating performance.
Identify significant exceptions or matters requiring management attention.
Complete a high-level controller review before the monthly management discussion.
Hold one monthly one-hour management call to review financial results, cash flow, operational questions, and actions for the next period.
Sales-tax support
Prepare and file LAVIOR’s Florida sales-tax returns based on the information available in QuickBooks and the applicable sales platforms.
Review marketplace-facilitator activity and other available sales-tax information to help identify reporting issues.
This scope covers routine Florida sales-tax filing. New-state registrations, sales-tax audits, voluntary disclosures, historical sales-tax cleanup, or complex multistate filings are outside this monthly scope and would be quoted separately before work begins.
Tax-planning support
Conduct quarterly tax-planning reviews using current financial information.
Provide year-end tax-planning recommendations before filing season.
Coordinate accounting information needed for LAVIOR’s corporate return and the related individual tax-planning discussion.
Tax planning is included in the monthly package; preparation and filing of tax returns are separate annual engagements listed below.
Initial transition and historical remediation
During the initial transition, WinnCove will review the current accounting process and available supporting records to identify prior-period items that require additional investigation.
The preliminary review identified items that may require further work, including credit-card allocation entries, inventory and COGS treatment, and SBA loan treatment.
