Job Overview

The Controller III position will report directly to the Controlling Manager II and will be responsible for various assignments related to the Trade Compliance Reconciliation process, audit compliance and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in driving the U.S. Controllership team's strategic priorities while upholding TE's core values of integrity, accountability, inclusion, teamwork, and innovation.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Assist Legal Global Trade Compliance team by performing the reconciliation for trade compliance for US Legal Entities including Maquila locations.
  • This role will be a liaison with the business units to gather the required information using data mining tools such as Alteryx for the Trade Compliance reconciliation process.
  • Calculate the monthly tariff accrual and business unit allocation entries.
  • Compile the Inter-Company audit confirmation data requests from external auditors for review and sign-off by the LE Controller.
  • Support the annual unclaimed property process for aged uncashed checks (payroll, vendor payables and customer refunds) related to the US Legal entities in PR2, PRM and PH1.
  • Involvement with various GL related projects as assigned by direct manager.

  • Proficiency in English

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong accounting background
  • Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or equivalent experience
