About the Company
The Company is a manufacturing company headquartered in Irwindale, CA, with two locations. Backed by private equity and on a profitable, high-growth trajectory, the Company treats disciplined financial management as a core pillar of its growth strategy.
The Opportunity
The Controller is a pivotal role in the Company’s finance organization. Reporting to the CFO and partnering directly with the CEO, you will own the fundamentals — reporting integrity, the monthly close, internal controls, and the accounting team — while gaining direct insight into the strategic decisions shaping the business. This is not a back-office role. You will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, and Human Resources to turn financial data into insights that drive how the Company grows, and you will play a central role in delivering the accurate, timely reporting that lenders and our private equity sponsor rely on. The right candidate will be energized by building, improving, and influencing — and will find significant opportunity for career growth within a PE-backed platform.

- Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for leadership, lenders, and the private equity sponsor, including variance commentary
- Drive continuous improvement in close and reporting processes, reducing cycle time and increasing accuracy
Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering

Cost Accounting & Inventory
- Maintain the integrity of standard costs and routings within the ERP system to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation
- Identify cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities across manufacturing operations in partnership with Operations and FP&A
