Seeking a Controller for a nonprofit/community development financial organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunity.
The role leads all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and internal controls, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, and loan accounting. Responsibilities include managing month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting management, 3-5 years in financial analysis, a relevant degree or experience, and strong Excel skills, with familiarity in systems like Blackbaud or Power BI.
Preferred qualifications include experience with diverse communities, nonprofit or CDFI work, and CPA certification.
Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
