    Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • Financial Oversight:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Lead all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, collections, and payroll processing.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Month -End Close & Reporting:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, reconciliations, manage year -end audits, and reporting to support strategic decision -making.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Budgeting & Forecasting:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Develop and monitor financial plans to align with company goals, providing key insights and recommendations.  Prepare Job Budgets, Variances and % to completion.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Compliance & Taxation:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, overseeing tax filings and audits with external professionals.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Process Optimization:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Leadership & Development:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Manage and mentor a small accounting team, fostering a high -performance culture.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Collaboration & Strategic Influence:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Partner with operations, procurement, and project management teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.  Manage banking and insurance relationships, work closely with IT and HR.<\/span><\/span>

      Ideal Candidate:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • 8+ years of experience<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>in financial management, with tenure as a Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Industry Knowledge:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Background in construction, industrial services, or related industries is highly preferred.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Technical Expertise:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Experience with NetSuite and financial reporting customization and Expert Level Excel. The company just upgraded their accounting department to NetSuite.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Education:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
