Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, WIP reporting, job costing, and project financial analysis processes as the Controller.

  • Drive the company's ERP implementation, improve accounting processes, and strengthen internal controls.

  • Partner with project managers and operational leaders to provide financial insights that improve profitability and project performance.

  • Oversee the daily accounting function, mentor the accounting team, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Support executive leadership with financial strategy, planning, cash flow management, and business decision-making.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (Associate's degree considered); CPA is a plus.

  • Previous Controller experience within construction, mechanical contracting, or another project-based industry.

  • Strong background in ERP implementations, budgeting, forecasting, WIP reporting, job costing, and financial analysis.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and drive continuous improvement.
