Our client, a large and rapidly growing international manufacturing corporation, is looking to hire a Controller for their organization. If you have prior Controllership experience in the manufacturing or distribution field, this could be a great next step for you! The company is experiencing strong growth and in need of someone that can help them to evaluate and improve upon their current controls and procedures. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, stable corporation, but one that can also offer continued growth and professional challenge. They work a hybrid office schedule and are offering a salary in the range of $225,000 to $250,000 plus bonus, robust benefits, etc.
Responsibilities for the Controller job include:
Reporting to the CFO, you will manage accounting and reporting for the company
Heavy involvement in month/quarterly/year end close, workpapers, reconciliations, etc.
Manage a team of 7
Maintain complex industry and GAAP compliance
Strive to constantly improve processes procedures
Involvement in acquisition evaluation and integration
Liaise with and support external auditors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license is required
10+ years of public/private accounting experience required
5+ years of management experience required
Must come out of a manufacturing/distribution background
Proactive style, constantly looking for improvement, cost saving opportunities
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives
