Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Controller to lead our accounting function and serve as a key business partner to executive leadership. This individual will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, while also contributing to strategic financial planning and operational decision-making.

This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is eager to grow into a senior executive position.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Manage inventory and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls and financial processes
Lead financial audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, HR, and IT to drive business performance
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
Oversee ERP systems, financial data integrity, and reporting tools
Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of advanced technologies (including AI)
Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
Strong background in manufacturing accounting (required)
Experience in a global or multi-entity environment preferred
CPA or other relevant certification preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar tools
Experience with ERP systems (Sage or similar preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence decision-making
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
