** Raven Ridge** is hiring an experienced ** Controller** to lead core accounting and financial operations. This individual will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting support, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting activities while partnering with leadership across the business.
This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to contribute strategically while remaining involved in daily financial operations.
** Responsibilities**
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting operations
- Maintain internal controls and support audit readiness
- Analyze financial performance and provide operational insight to leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and reporting efficiency
- Assist with ERP optimization and financial system enhancements
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed
- Support inventory and cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
** Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting environments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
