Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CONTROLLER for a stable manufacturing client south of the Hartford, CT area.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
10+ Years of manufacturing industry experience
3+ years of Leadership / Managerial experience
Strong understanding of Manufacturing including Standard Cost and Inventory
ERP Systems experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the full scope of accounting processes for Plant Location.
Leading role in the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure that local statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met.
Ensures that policies and procedures adhere to a system of internal controls, and serves as the lead for internal and external audit requirements.
Serves as a primary point of contact with Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.
Leads, develops, and coaches local accounting team.
Key role in the financial planning cycle - providing various inputs and performing reviews in the areas of revenue, material, headcount, plant expenses, and working capital (following standard financial planning process flows).
