Controller - Fully onsite
Morrow, GA
Salary Range: $165K - $200K

- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team while shaping the future direction of the department.
Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Lead accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting operations.
- Oversee the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), annual audit, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, internal controls, and applicable governmental regulations.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and mentor finance staff while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA designation required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including ACFR and GASB expertise.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams; public sector, utility, or governmental experience preferred.
