The Controller - Multi Unit, Multi-Service - (Nutrition and Environmental Services) position will support The University Hospital Health System located in Cleveland, Ohio.   

 

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee financial operations across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with Sodexo policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and reporting to maintain accuracy and integrity of data
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across all units, aligning financial plans with organizational goals
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting Consolidate financial statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and internal control enhancements
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity for all units to ensure financial stability

What You Bring:
  • Pay attention to detail
  • demonstrate strong Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables) required
  • Have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong finance knowledge, as well as strong research and analytical skills
  • Monitor KPIs and dashboards for financial health and operational performance across units
  • Can manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Financial experience within the hospital, food service, or environmental services industry is preferred

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
