Salary: $120,000.00-$135,000.00

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:


• Lead accounting operations including payroll, cash management, reconciliations, and disbursements.
• Manage monthly and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight.
• Oversee audits, regulatory filings, Form 990 support, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, forecasting, collections, and grant-related financial activities.
• Partner with leadership on board reporting, financial analysis, and decision support.
• Supervise finance staff and lead process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the Controller:


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level leadership.
• Strong nonprofit GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Experience with government contracts, grants management, and revenue recognition.
• Proven audit leadership experience and compliance expertise.
• Experience managing finance teams of five or
