Controller

A rapidly growing, founder-led luxury fashion brand is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function and serve as a key business partner to the CFO and executive leadership team.

This organization generates approximately $100M in revenue through a diversified business model that includes wholesale, direct-to-consumer eCommerce, and retail operations. The Controller will oversee a team of five accounting professionals and play a critical role in strengthening processes, developing talent, and supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close

• Manage audits, internal controls, and GAAP compliance

• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions

• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy

• Evaluate and improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies

• Develop, mentor, and elevate the accounting team

• Support the complexities of wholesale, retail, and eCommerce operations

Ideal Background

Controller leadership experience within retail, apparel, fashion, or consumer products

Strong understanding of inventory accounting, margins, and cash flow management

Experience supporting both wholesale and direct-to-consumer business models

Proven success in founder-led or entrepreneurial environments

Hands-on leadership style with strong team development skills

Track record of improving processes while maintaining strong controls

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $179,999.00 per year
