LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing family business company in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and taking ownership across the full accounting cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare financial reports and provide insights to leadership
Handle account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Partner with an external CPA firm on tax preparation, audits, and financial reporting
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting efforts
Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices as the company scales
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience with Accounts Receivable and account reconciliations
Experience working with external CPA firms
Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
Solid understanding of GAAP principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
