What You'll Lead
Financial Strategy & Performance
- Monthly financial statements and executive dashboards
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Variance analysis and performance improvement strategies
- Financial modeling for new programs and expansion
Accounting Excellence
- General ledger, close process, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight
- Internal controls and policy development
- Fixed assets and balance sheet integrity
Healthcare Finance Operations
- Partner with revenue cycle teams to improve collections
- Analyze payer mix, denials, reimbursement trends
- Support 340B pharmacy financial performance
- Help maximize sustainability of mission-based services
Compliance & Leadership
- Coordinate annual audits
- Ensure grant and regulatory compliance
- Supervise finance team members
- Build a culture of urgency, ownership, and excellence
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years progressive finance/accounting leadership experience
- Strong GAAP, controls, budgeting, and reporting expertise
- Proven team leadership experience
Preferred:
- CPA or MBA
- Healthcare, nonprofit, or FQHC experience
- Experience with Medicaid / Medicare reimbursement
- Multi-site finance leadership background
As Controller, you will be a key financial leader responsible for helping guide a multi-site healthcare organization through growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
You will work directly with executive leadership to:
Strengthen financial operations
Improve cash flow and reporting
Build budgets that support growth
Ensure audit and grant readiness
Create accountability systems
Deliver financial insight that drives decisions
Help expand access to healthcare in underserved communities
