Key responsibilities include month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, external audits, working capital and cash flow review, P&L analysis, intercompany transactions, supervising accounting staff, and enhancing internal controls. Collaboration with external tax, audit, and compliance agencies is essential, along with driving process improvements like ERP consolidation and electronic invoicing.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s or CPA preferred), 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years supervisory, and advanced Excel/database skills. Logistics industry experience is a plus.
