Responsibilities include managing annual financial audits, coordinating tax reporting and compliance, overseeing business licenses, ensuring timely preparation of required federal and state tax filings, and maintaining compliance with all applicable accounting standards and legal requirements. The Controller will also serve as the primary administrator for the ERP accounting system, ensuring the software is fully utilized while continually improving accounting processes and operational efficiency.

As the leader of the accounting department, the Controller will recruit, train, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This includes conducting performance reviews, providing coaching and cross-training opportunities, leading regular departmental meetings, resolving operational issues, supporting team development, and participating in management meetings and special projects as needed.
