Venteon Finance is currently seeking PLANT CONTROLLER for a manufacturing client just north of Dayton, OH.
REQUIREMENTS of the Plant Controller role
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 - 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience
Strong understanding of Standard and Actual Cost
Budgeting and Forecasting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
ERP System experience
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Plant Controller role
Oversee the operations of the accounting department
Produce timely and accurate financial statements and reports
Preparation of local management financial reporting
Analyze variances from budget and/or forecast
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
Establish and routinely analyze costs of inventory
Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Lead and direct the work of others
