About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive financial excellence across the organization. This role is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions, while also contributing to long-term strategic planning and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital and debt
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and reporting requirements
  • Manage and enhance financial controls, systems, and processes
  • Review contracts for financial implications and risk
  • Provide financial insights for pricing, capital investments, and negotiations
  • Develop financial models for strategic initiatives, including long-range planning and M&A
  • Identify and implement profit improvement opportunities
  • Partner with leadership to drive business strategy and performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 10+ years of financial management experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
