Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting

YOUR TYPICAL DAY...

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger oversight and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX internal controls, and applicable industry regulations
• Prepare financial reporting packages and provide insights to leadership teams
• Collaborate with operations, tax, treasury, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen accounting controls and efficiencies

YOU HAVE...

• Expertise in accounting leadership, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within the energy industry
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Experience managing general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Active CPA designation required

EXTRA CREDIT...

• Experience within oil & gas, utilities, power generation, renewable energy, or energy trading environments
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Allegro, or similar ERP/energy platforms
• Strong technical accounting expertise and experience with intercompany allocations
• Prior leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
