Job Details

Overview:
Growing organization seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial strategy. This role blends execution (owning the close, reporting, and controls) with forward-looking analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Deliver financial analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights to leadership
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
  • Establish and maintain internal controls; support audit and tax compliance
  • Manage and mentor accounting team; drive accountability and development
  • Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, and working capital optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve cost control and profitability
  • Identify and implement process improvements, systems, and ERP enhancements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
  • 5–7+ years of experience; 2+ years leadership
  • Strong hands-on experience across close, reporting, budgeting, and cash management
  • Deep GAAP knowledge; audit exposure preferred
  • Advanced Excel + ERP systems experience
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
