CFS is Hiring: Controller

Location: Seabrook, NH
Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days on site 1 day remote
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

CFS is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being hands-on while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

As the Controller, you will:

Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Manage cash flow planning and financial analysis
Prepare and present financial statements and key performance metrics
Partner with leadership on strategic planning and operational decision-making
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Coordinate external audits and support tax-related activities

Qualifications

The ideal Controller will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA preferred
Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
Experience managing accounting teams in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
Excellent communication and business partnering skills
