What You'll Do:


Lead the Financial Close Process


Manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and timely completion of all accounting functions.


Oversee Government & Regulatory Reporting


Prepare and coordinate federal, state, and local reporting requirements while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and funding requirements.


Drive Financial Oversight


Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide leadership with critical financial insights to support decision-making and operational planning.


Support Budgeting & Strategic Planning


Participate in budget development, forecasting, cost allocation analysis, and long-range financial planning initiatives.


Manage Audits & Compliance


Coordinate external audits, pension audits, year-end reporting, and compliance activities while maintaining strong internal controls.


Partner with Leadership


Work closely with executive leadership and board stakeholders to prepare financial reports and communicate key financial information.


What You Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

  • CPA preferred, or equivalent depth of accounting experience

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles

  • Experience with government, municipal, nonprofit, or grant reporting strongly preferred

  • Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes

  • Understanding of audits, budgeting, and regulatory compliance

  • Ability to learn and navigate complex reporting requirements
