Controller

StevenDouglas has partnered with a growing construction and engineering company in Northern Virginia on their search for a Controller. This role is hybrid (3x per week onsite) and does not offer any relocation or remote options.

Reporting to the Founder/President , the Controller is responsible for all accounting and finance operations as well as providing strategic guidance to the company. This is a hands-on position with a small staff and requires a detail-oriented individual who can wear multiple hats. As the company is growing, the Controller will have a seat at the table with Senior Management and be involved in decision making.

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• 7+ years of Accounting Experience, including all Finance/Accounting Operations
• \n
• Strong Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, other tools
• \n
• Construction Accounting Experience (job costing, project based accounting)
• \n
• CPA preferred
• \n
• BS in Accounting/Finance
• \n
