Job Details

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures
Coordinate annual audit process and work closely with external auditors
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Assist leadership with financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational reporting
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA strongly preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
Experience overseeing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Prior healthcare, nonprofit, multi-entity, or regulated industry experience highly preferred
ERP/system experience with strong Excel skills
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a growing organization
