Ready to take ownership of the financial operations for a growing $75M industrial/civil construction company?

We seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, cash management, job costing, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Reporting directly to the President, this is a key leadership role for an experienced construction accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on environment.

What You'll Own:

Financial reporting & month-end close
Job costing, WIP schedules & project profitability analysis
Percentage-of-completion accounting
Multi-state payroll, tax & compliance oversight
Cash flow management, budgeting & forecasting
AP, AR & payroll team leadership
Audit, insurance & bonding coordination
Strategic partnership with executive leadership

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of accounting experience with senior leadership responsibility
5+ years of construction accounting experience required
Expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and construction billing
Knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax compliance
Experience with Spectrum, Vista, Sage 300, Foundation, or similar ERP systems
CPA preferred
