We’re looking for a hands-on Controller with a strong foundation in banking or financial services who can lead the accounting function while owning state and federal regulatory reporting. This role is both strategic and tactical, offering the opportunity to partner with leadership while staying close to the numbers.

Job Details

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Lead state and federal regulatory reporting, including CALL reports
  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and reporting requirements
  • Prepare financials and present insights to executive leadership
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff
  • Support audits and maintain strong internal controls
  • Identify and drive process improvements

Requirements:
  • 7–10+ years of experience in banking or financial services accounting
  • Strong experience with CALL reports and regulatory reporting
  • Knowledge of state and federal banking regulations
  • Prior management experience
  • Strong understanding of GL, financial reporting, and controls
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
