Role Summary: Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Controls and Application Engineer is a key member of the Galloup sales team. The Controls and Application Engineer supports the Galloup sales team by providing technical expertise throughout the sales and project process. The person in this role will develop solutions, prepare estimates, design control systems, and create detailed schematics and panel layouts. The Controls and Application Engineer will recommend appropriate products and communicate technical information to customers and internal partners. This position plays a key role in driving panel project opportunities.

What you'll need:
Work Experience: Entry Level engineering
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of skills and experience
Analytical/Computer Skills: Critical thinking and an eye for detail; competent with MS Office and Excel; ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications; proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical, or similar software
Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communications, problem solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers or team members
