Job Summary
Seeking a Controls Automation Engineer to restore and stabilize a KAMP Automation surgical tool brazing machine by rewriting and optimizing its existing control software.
Title: Controls Automation Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the existing machine control architecture.
- Rewrite and optimize the base PLC/control code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation software issues.
- Upgrade and improve the machine control system.
- Debug, test, and stabilize the equipment to restore production.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Strong experience with Ignition SCADA/HMI.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, invasive code rewriting, and software debugging.
- Experience understanding and modifying existing automation/control system architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting and stabilizing automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and resolve critical production issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
- Experience with robotics, vision systems, servo-controlled automation, and induction heating is a plus.
