Job Summary:
Design, build, install, and maintain all electrical control systems, all sound reinforcement systems, theatrical lighting systems, and industrial electrical systems throughout the park.


Specific Job Duties:

  • Utilize PLC and Relay Logic knowledge to install, maintain, and trouble shoot electrical control systems.
  • Inspect rides, facilities, and attractions, repair and notify leadership as to any issues that could endanger guests or employees.
  • Install new electrical systems as assigned. 600V or less distribution, VFD's, Motors, compressors etc.
  • Repair and maintain a variety of electrical systems, circuits, lighting, transformers etc.
  • Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventive maintenance utilizingIBM Maximo system.
  • Follow guidelines of the national electrical code for design, application, interpretation, and compliance of all electrical apparatus and installation.
  • Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required.
  • Completion of projects and assignments as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Trade school certification in Industrial electric/electronics preferred.
  • Ability to read and program Allen-Bradley PLC's via ladder logic in RSLogix/Studio 5000.
  • 3+ years related industrial electrical/electronic experience.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push and pull and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; must be able to reach overhead.
  • Must be able to perform work functions at heights in excess of 150'.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
