SkillSetGroup is seeking an experienced Controls Electrician for a direct-hire opportunity in the Rancho Cucamonga area. This position will support an R&D and industrial manufacturing environment by installing, maintaining, programming, and troubleshooting electrical control systems.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with industrial electrical systems, Rockwell PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, HMIs, relay logic, and automated equipment.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control systemsProgram and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCsWork with HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, relays, and automation systemsRead and interpret electrical blueprints and schematicsSupport control-system upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installationsCollaborate with engineers, technicians, vendors, and outside contractorsTroubleshoot electrical and automation issues with minimal supervisionFollow electrical codes, safety procedures, and quality standardsPerform occasional manual labor and travel to other production facilities as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED3 or more years of industrial electrical or controls experienceRockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting experienceStrong understanding of electrical theory and control logicExperience with HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and relay logicAbility to read electrical schematics and blueprintsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsTechnical certification or associate degree in electrical technology is preferredForklift experience is a plusBenefitsProfit sharingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insuranceFlexible spending account
