    Contract Details

    • Job Title: Controls Engineer
    • Type of Contract: Long-term At-will
    • Expected Hiring Date: July 2026
    • Scope: Single-site manufacturing environment

    Responsibilities

    • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on production equipment.
    • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs (SIEMENS), HMI systems, and automation equipment.
    • Support robotic programming and ensure proper functionality of automated systems.
    • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to safety, quality, and production downtime.
    • Modify and optimize equipment to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
    • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure standardized processes.
    • Participate in new equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives (Industry 4.0).
    • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards.
    • Promote and maintain 5S standards and a safe working environment, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
    • Strong experience with PLC programming (SIEMENS preferred) and HMI systems.
    • Knowledge of robotic programming and industrial automation systems.
    • Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
    • Proficiency with CAD software and engineering tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with MES systems and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
    • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
    • English required; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
