This is a 2nd shift position to support plant operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- University Degree or Associate's Degree in Electronics from a minimum 2 year College or Technical school, i.e., Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology or Industrial Electrical License preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively more-complex assembly/maintenance related experience.
- Electrical controls engineering background preferable with technical education in basic electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics is required.
- Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) an asset.
- Work experience with Allen Bradley, Fanuc, RS Logix, and Ethernet controls systems required.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Create, read, understand and modify electrical prints and specifications.
- Working knowledge of resistance spot and GMAW.
- Experience with Bosch or WTC weld controls.
- Experience with PHSR and Industrial Safety Standards.
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and with a variable workload.
- Strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills in all aspects of the job function.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to apply to analyze data.
- Ability to demonstrate and use Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Panel Builder, EPLAN.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements.
- Must be able to interact effectively with other team members.
- Able to appreciate and maintain proper level of confidentiality, using discretion and tact.
