We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of control programs for electro-mechanical and electronic control refrigeration systems. In this mid-level position, you will work under minimal supervision, coordinating with other engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation and operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design control programs based on project wiring diagrams and I/O for refrigeration systems.
Interpret hardware and instrumentation schematics and assist in writing operational sequences.
Collaborate with production teams to implement system changes and ensure specifications are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside field technicians and customers.
Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product conformity with design specifications.
Engage with customers, contractors, and vendors to address warranty and technical support issues.
Prepare and present technical proposals and cost estimates.
Provide regular updates on project statuses and future initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in programming CPCs, PLCs, and HMIs with systems integration.
Proficiency in electrical panel layout, schematic design, and ladder logic programming.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration system circuit design, with field experience preferred.
Experience in customer interaction, sales, and quoting is advantageous.
Knowledge of natural refrigerants such as CO2 and Ammonia is desired.
Ability to work independently while effectively communicating across teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls regularly.
Capability to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
Occasionally required to perform physical activities such as reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
