Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation projects.
Program and implement control systems using PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, vision systems, and mobile robots (both traditional and autonomous).
Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
Provide field engineering support for system retrofits and upgrades.
Support project teams and customers during design reviews, installations, commissioning, and maintenance.
Travel to customer sites for system start-up and troubleshooting support.
Periods of time may require up to 15% overnight travel.
Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users.
Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in controls engineering and automation systems design.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
