In this role, you will have the opportunity to work out of one of the largest and most well- recognized paper mills in the country with a collaborative engineering team. You will be responsible for heading up an impressive DCS migration project from Honeywell TDC 3000 to ABB 800XA. If you're someone who enjoys hand on controls work with an industry leader- apply today!As the Senior Process Controls Engineer, you will:Provide process control engineering and automation support to the manufacturing facilityTake ownership over the site's DCS systems (maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading).Develop and execute the maintenance related to systems automation to ensure that the facility is kept in an operational state.Execute control system configuration and monitoring, and HMI designDirect or assist capital engineering and process improvement projects.Provide automation system and facility expertise with regulatory agencies on audits etc.Apply engineering theory to establish root cause of equipment failuresRequired Skills/Abilities:B.S in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering - preferredMinimum 3 years of experience with process controls engineering or maintenancePaper & pulp/plastics, or chemical manufacturing experienceKnowledge of distributed control systems (DCS), Allen-Bradley PLCs, implementation and management of SCADA, HMIs, FactoryTalkMedical401KRelocation assistanceSeniority level Entry levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Paper and Forest Product Manufacturing and Wood Product Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
