Responsibilities The Automation / Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment.Install software updates with the latest versions.Participate on project teams in the development of control/instrumentation system specifications and support factory acceptance testing of new equipment systems.Lead the development and execution of small projects that are electrical/controls in nature. Upgrading of obsolete controls to modern technology.Perform system start-ups and operational checkouts on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding, and power testing.Reload and reboot PLC to restore faulted equipment after power outages.Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.$110K-$130K. Regional candidates preferred.Requirements The Automation Controls Engineer will have a BSEE (or applicable major).5+ years of experience from a manufacturing process with strong PLC and field instrumentation knowledge.Programming and ladder logic of PLC's. Allen Bradley is desired.Experience in a chemical, foods, pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing plant is mandatory.Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.#J-18808-Ljbffr
