Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain software for PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve control system issues.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems.
• Document control system designs, modifications, and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in controls engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or C/C++.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial environments.
