As a part of that team, your duties will include:Participating in the design, development, and documentation of systems which meet our customers' requirements.Communicating with customers, both at the office and on-site, to present your work and come up with unique solutions.Traveling to customer sites to implement and test project deliverables.Meeting with Project Managers and Lead Engineers to assess your project's statuses and determine the most effective approach successful completion.ACE offers professional development opportunities that allow a new engineer to choose from multiple career paths. In fact, ACE is managed and currently owned by engineers who started their careers as entry level engineers at ACE.EducationRequired SkillsPossess in-depth knowledge of programming conceptsThorough knowledge of business application software (MS Office package)Strong written and oral communication skillsDisplays a positive and professional demeanorDemonstrates a flexible and cooperative working styleWilling to work off-hours when requiredMust possess a valid driver's licenseWilling to submit to drug testing and/or background checks as mandated for a) employment, and b) customer contract requirementsPreferred QualificationsGeneral understanding of process control or other manufacturing processes.Prior experience with or exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS and MES technologies.Self-starter that can work individually or in a group, demonstrated leadership qualities.About ACEApplied Control Engineering, Inc.
