Job Overview:
Pay Range $60hr - $65hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting (ToyoPuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley) + 4 years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs + 6 years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls + 4 years.
- 2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Proficiency with MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMs.
Responsibilities:
- Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions.
- Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.
- Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.
- Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor and facilitating kanban process.
- Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.
- Install, set-up, and troubleshoot ToyoPuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers.
- Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment.
- Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production Members.
- Travel up to 20% at times. Engage in travel to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Nice to Have:
- 4+ years Industrial maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial Robot programming and teaching.
- Knowledge of AGVs/AMRs programming and set up.
- Knowledge of safety scanners and programming.
- Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, EthernetIP, FLNet, ProfiNet, etc.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge in Client Machinery Standards (NA-AMS, G-AMS, Machinery Risk Assessment, etc).
- OSHA 10 certification.
