The ideal candidate would be someone with strong experience with warehouse automation or material handling equipment specifically for post and parcel customers.Pay Range: $45.00 - $48.50 hourly on W2, the pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors .Will be traveling to clients locations through out the country, 90 percent of the time.Expenses will need submitted weekly as Misc. invoice for reimbursement.Job Description:The PLC Controls Engineer III implements multiple electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. Engineer provides planning, reporting and management of the electrical project, in addition to technical implementation. The Electrical Controls Engineer takes full ownership of the controls program elements and executes and/or delegate individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on site may include other Electrical Project Engineers. The Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture and manages the scope, budget, schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.Roles and Responsibilities:Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager.
