The ideal candidate for the Controls Engineer role will be results driven, motivated by technical challenges and have excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, and strong problem-solving analytical skills. Responsibilities The Controls Engineer will be reportable to the Sr. Maintenance Manager and have responsibilities for the following tasks:Duties:Support the facility in day-to-day technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Foxboro DCS, associated interfaces, and various PLC applications in a continuous manufacturing process environment.Provide automation Support for Manufacturing Process using Allen Bradley PLC's and Foxboro DCS Systems.Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements and business needs.Provide technical support and recommendations in assessing new requirements for projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems.Manage projects - defining scope, stakeholder analysis, objectives, timeline, testing phase, implementation and evaluation.Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.Drive successful results through continuous improvement activities.Develop and provide training to end users.Travel - Domestic up to 10% as needed.Employer Name: Alpek Polyester Mississippi, Inc.
