This includes leading or contributing to system design, programming, integration, and commissioning of industrial control systems. The position requires both hands‑on technical expertise and leadership capability, with opportunities to guide junior engineers and manage smaller projects. Success in this role is driven by strong problem‑solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with clients.*Ability to travel up to 30% and work in both office and industrial environmentsKey Responsibilities & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 6+ years of experienceRequired experience with Ignition, GE Cimplicity , and integration with MES/ERP systemsDesign and implement industrial control systems, including PLC, DCS, RTU, HMI, and SCADA platformsDevelop system architecture, electrical schematics, and detailed documentationProgram using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, SFC, and standard languages like SQL, .NET, and VBAConfigure industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus) across wired, fiber, and wireless systemsLead project efforts, mentor junior engineers, and potentially manage smaller projectsWork directly with clients to define requirements and deliver tailored automation solutionsUtilize platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, GE, ICONICS, and othersSupport data integration, visualization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Grafana, APIs)Preferred experience in industries like Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, or material handlingTo comply with some state laws, the annual base salary range for this position has been provided.
